Fontyn tied for 3rd on 2011 Tour

Results of the 2011 American Hanoverian Inspection tour have been announced.  Fontyn’s August 2011 studbook inspection score of 7.83 has her tied for third place nationally.

Fontyn is Mare Champion at AHS Inspection!

I am thrilled to report that homebred Fontyn (Fred Astair/Maurice/Wenzel I) was named Champion Hanoverian Mare at the Hilton Farm’s AHS inspection in Orange, VA on August 15th.  “Margo” achieved a VERY gratifying 7.83 studbook inspection score.  She is now Elite Eligible.

Highlights include a 8 for her trot, and 9 for the walk.  Pictures, judges comments and individual scores coming soon!

AHF’s Fontyn Ribbons at Dressage at Devon

Autumn Hill Farm’s homebred yearling filly Fontyn (Fred Astair-SPS Malena/Maurice) hitched a ride to Devon with her Hilltop Handlers in September.  This was the second show for this precocious little girl, and she was a perfect lady all week.

This filly knows how to “strike the pose”, and brought home two ribbons, both in extremely large and competitive classes: 6th place in the all-breed yearling fillies, and a 10th place in the Hanoverian 2 and under class.  She is going to be an utter delight to show under saddle, and really seems to know when to turn it on.
